Time For Love

One of you has seen the other from afar, smitten as a schoolchild.You’ve never known a love as deep or as swift as this--as if you’ve known this person forever, actually, as if your love surpasses timelines.

The other of you has noticed unfathomable things in the clear light of day: evidences in dreams that your world has ended before, or signs in the stars that it’s ending now. In each of them, you have been a savior of that world, one of few who have emerged changed from the ordeal--and somehow, so has this nerd who says they like you.

One of you has asked the other out on a date. Perhaps if you can just happen to chill out tonight and have a nice meal, the sights will stop. 

They don’t. 

In fact, on tonight of all nights, they’re rather insistent.
