High school is hell. The cool kids use their hatred of you as an act of power. The teachers don't actually want to help you grow out of the bullshit around you. The parents don't even know what's going on with you when you're in crisis.

These are the best years of your life.

Dream Ablare is a game of Belonging Outside Belonging for three to five players, set in the fictional St. Blaise Preparatory School. You play an outcast, in a small clique of your peers, trying to survive the emotional horror of high school, unravel the conspiracies of those who wield power above them, and find some semblance of solidarity among each other.

If you're into the intense high school drama of Gossip Girl, the dark conspiracies of Riverdale or Pretty Little Liars, the darkness of Heathers, or even the potential weird conspiracies of Greenhouse Academy or the eldritch secrets of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, maybe this game is for you.
