Soundclash

Something broke the music. 

It made the sound unpredictable, full of darkness--pockets of noise eating away at the edges of the neighbourhood, deep wells of unchecked drumming vibrations under the earth and growing in force. 

But it also gave folks like you the spellsong--made you powerful in only the way art can. 

Now, the government wants to restrict you, the industry wants to profit off of you, and your neighbourhood doesn't know how to feel about you one way or another--so long as you're keeping them safe, making them proud, and making the music that keeps them going. 

But the music... at least it's real now. True, raw, impossible to rein in. Just the way it should be, I say.

Soundclash is a game about music, magic, and standing up against the Man, Forged in the Dark. In a world where music is a newfound force of volatile magical power, everyone wants a piece of you. Start a band, make a name for yourself, and lead your fellow bandmates down the path of recklessness, ruthlessness, melody and misery. 

 A full-length Forged in the Dark RPG for 3 to 5 players, it includes four core playbooks designed to interact with a wealth of genre-specific band sheets, as well as new rules for performances, including Clashes between rival bands as a source of conflict, and using songs as weapons in magical combat. Join your band in making the music you want, tapping into the spellsong in evocative and powerful ways, and leverage your fame and resources to survive a distrusting world, an untrustworthy music industry, and a magical source that is as raw as it is fickle.
